I do not think my review will do justice to this Airbnb but I will give it a try. Please note that the review is for both of Sara's properties (Toi et Moi apartment and Toi et Moi house). PropertiesFirst the apartment: it is exactly as described. Beautifully and tastefully decorated, very modern appliances and centrally located. The apartment was fully equipped with everything needed for a family and an infant. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had everything one needs to cook and the living room was very cosy. From the apartment one can see the Atlantic ocean and the sunsets are also mind blowing. The place was also spotless and we loved our stay there.After a week, we moved to the house because we had more family members coming. Now the house: my goodness. This house is something else.Absolutely stunning. It is clear that it was a labour of love for Sara. She thought about every single little details. The house even has ramps installed on the stairs to make it easier to roll suitcases up. The kitchen is jaw dropping. So fabulously designed with high quality materials and equipped with top notch appliances. The bedrooms are exquisite and comfortable. We felt right at home. I know others who have left reviews have said this was the best Airbnb they have been to and I can only concur. This was the best Airbnb ever. I repeat, this was the best Airbnb ever. There was plenty of outdoor space (one or two on each floor!!!!) where one can take in the sun and watch the beautiful sunset. We were so sad leaving the property and still keep saying"we miss the house", that is how amazing this property is. Hosts Sara and her cousin Helena are wonderful hosts. They went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable, had everything we needed and were having an excellent time on the island. We were delayed on arrival and Helena was so patient and courteous despite having waited for us since 6.30am!! We were greeted with a really nice laid out table with breakfast that consisted of delicacies from the island. They had even made soup for our baby (I mean, say whatttt???!). Sara always checked in on us, sent the cleaner to clean, prepared the table at the Toi et MOI house with some bubbly for us (again, say whatttt???) and was always so jovial. We left some clothes behind and without hesitation Sara mailed them to us . I was speechless. It was a real pleasure meeting her and her cousin and I hope to stay in touch with them. They made our stay an unforgettable one and we cannot wait to return because that house, my oh my , that house!!!

Great place and lovely Host ! We have been perfectly received by Sara with local products to celebrate our arrival. Sara also offered us cleaning during our trip. We were treated as guests of a 5 stars' hotel ! The place is great and very well located. Toi + Moi is perfect for group or family who want to discover Sao Miguel ! Sara's home is the finest Airbnb I have ever stayed at. Sara herself is incredibly kind and hospitable. The home is very well designed and decorated for large groups or families. For PontaDelgada, the location is perfect; very close to the water and a 10 minute walk to the town center.The multiple balconies and the rear courtyard are great places to relax. HIGHLY recommended.

I highly recommend Toi and Moi as a stay when visitingSao Miguel and the Azores. After staying in many home stays around the world Sara’s home isa 10/10. The extra touches were amazing and the house was spotless. It was perfect.

The perfect place to return to after a long day of sightseeing, or just chilling out on one of the terraces with a good book and a glass of wine. Be amazed! The little details, the way the morning sun hits the gorgeous wooden staircase, sunsets on the top terrace, comfiest beds ever where you will sleep like a baby. And as for the host, Sarais the kindest person I’ve ever met. She even came to pick us up from the airport, even though we arrived after midnight. She welcomed us with fresh fruits, with her homemade jam, yogurt, flowers. The highlight of the morning was waiting for the knock on the door and finding hot breadrolls on the doorsteps. Book this place!Promise you will fall in love! I did.❤

This was all around the best Airbnb home I have stayed at, for many reasons. The location is perfect. It is new, immaculate, and has every amenity you could ask for. The hostess couldn’t be more warm, helpful, attentive to detail and available whenever you need her. She welcomed us with local cheeses, fruits, and champagne, and brought us bread every morning. We couldn’t have asked for more.

This must have been the best air bnb experience we’ve ever had. Sara was extremely hospitable, warm, and genuine. She met us at checkin with a lovely spread of snacks and to show us around the house which was beautiful. The space is clean, open, and airy. She offered for cleaning services almost everyday and left us treats on our doorstep every morning. We traveled with our 1 year old and she had pretty much everything we would need for him: a crib, baby bath tub, utensils, toys and even made him some carrot soup. There are black out shades in every bedroom which were essential for the baby to seep, too. I can’t say enough about the lengths that Sara went to to make sure we had everything we needed and felt comfortable and welcome.

A Sara foi simplesmente excepcional, a casa é tal e qual as fotos, muito limpa, espaçosa, existe uma enorme atenção aos detalhes, a casa tem tudo aquilo que pode precisar e mais coisas que só perceberá que lhe serão úteis quando a necessidade surgir. Tivemos um número incrível de mimos, desde flores frescas pela casa, a pão na porta no primeiro dia, uma tábua com queijinhos e doces, uma garrafa de vinho, toalhas para as piscinas.... Podia continuar. Adoramos a casa e a localização, mas gostamos ainda mais da Sara  Muito obrigada mais uma vez por tudo, é incrível a capacidade que tem de nos fazer sentir bem vindos e em casa. Voltaremos sem qualquer duvida. Um grande beijinho para si de nós os dois.

From hell to heaven: Toi et Moi A holiday kickoff with a disastrous apartment, resulted in the best experience we could have thought of. Being in Ponta Delgada already in need of a new accommodation, we could find Toi et Moi located at the edge of the city. Thanks to the quick and easy communication with our host Sara, we could rent the apartment overnight for our two weeks. Located just 300m from the mall and bakery, 5min to the airport or city center (walk 10-15min) alongside the highway close by, the place was more than ideal and perfect. "Jackpot" hits the nail. Warmly welcomed by Sara and her husband Carlos, we entered the perfect apartment. Modern, airy and created with love to all details: Large kitchen with large fridge, cooking stove, oven, microwave, coffee machine, water cooker and toaster. Spacious living room with tasteful furniture, dinner table, satellite TV and air con. Bedrooms with absolute comfy bedding, best we enjoyed in years of travel. Bathroom with daylight, modern ambience, cosy towels, immediate and constant warm water with good pressure and shower with rainshower function if preferred. From numerous plugs to washing machine, laundry rack, iron, beach towels, fresh rolls or and homemade jam & cake, it's about love to details created by a perfect host. We could continue for long, all in all it was the perfect holiday thanks to Toi et Moi. For the next trip to Sao Miguel we know where we will stay for sure, can't I think of a better place to stay during all our trips during last year's. Thank you Sara for not only rescuing our holiday but creating an unforgettable experience of hospitality. From hell to heaven, mehr als kurzfristig gesucht und gebucht, hat uns Toi et Moi unseren Urlaub gerettet und ihn zu einer wunderschönen und unvergesslichen Zeit gemacht. Unsere ursprünglich gebuchte Ferienwohnung war derart unzumutbar, dass wir nach einer Nacht bereits ausziehen mussten. Im Nachhinein betrachtet das beste, was uns passieren konnte. Schon während der Suche nach Ersatz war die Kommunikation mit unserem Host Sara schnell, positiv und unkompliziert. Aufgrund unseres Zeitdrucks konnten wir mit Sara innerhalb kürzester Zeit die neue Unterkunft reservieren und letztendlich über booking.com final buchen. Am nächsten Tag zur Übergabe wurden wir sehr warm und herzlich von Sara und ihrem Mann Carlos empfangen. Die Wohnung präsentiert sich hell, freundlich und modern eingerichtet, die Liebe zum Detail dabei spürbar und sichtbar. Eine geräumige Küche ausgestattet mit einem großen Kühlschrank, Induktionsherd, Spülmaschine, Ofen, Mikrowelle sowie Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher und Toaster steht zur Verfügung, auch für die erste Verpflegung hat Sara gesorgt. Darüber hinaus gibt es eine Waschmaschine, Wäscheständer und Bügelbrett & Eisen. Die Schlafzimmer verfügen über neue und sehr bequeme Betten - für uns die besten Betten, die wir auf unseren Reisen bekommen haben. Das Badezimmer mit hellem Tageslicht ist sehr gepflegt, verfügt über einen guten konstanten Wasserdruck, wahlweise Duschkopf oder Rainshower. Neben flauschigen Handtüchern gibt es auch Strandtücher. Das Wohnzimmer mit Essbereich ist geräumig lichtdurchflutet und sehr gemütlich. Fast täglich wartete eine kleine Überraschung auf uns, ob die an der Tür hängenden Brötchen oder ein selbstgebackener Kuchen. Dazu selbstgepflückte Blümchen und hauseigene Marmelade.

The apartment is super comfortable, clean and modern! Everything you need is included and you directly feel like home. Sara is a super lovely and helpful person and welcomed us with bread and a cheese plate that was super delicious :) Parking lots are available everywhere around and it's just a short drive to every destination on the island.

The decor is amazing. The apartment has lovely views and is very light. Everything about it was stunning. It has all the facilities for a family and young kids. Also it’s so centrally located! The apartment is very spacious and I love the furniture. Nothing!

Very well equipped apartment, friendly and gracious hosts. For our visit the location was perfect, close to the airport and also an easy 5 minute walk to a large mall and 20-25 minute walk to the town center. We had an excellent stay! I can’t think of anything negative. We had a fantastic stay!

Todo el apartamento está amueblado con mucho gusto, la limpieza es excelente. Los detalles al llegar a la casa: fruta, vino, pan, mermelada, un detalle muy bonito. La cama es cómoda y la cocina tiene todo lo necesario. Pero por encima de todo lo material, está el trato humano que hemos recibido. Mi marido ha tenido un problema importante de salud y ha requerido ser ingresado en el hospital. Desde el primer momento Sara, Carlos y Helena, nos han acompañado en todas las gestiones requeridas, nos han cuidado y brindado su amistad. Nunca olvidaremos el trato recibido, para nosotros ha sido un regalo conocerlos, ya forman parte de un trocito de nuestro corazón. Gracias!!!

O apartamento é excelente, muito bem equipado e acolhedor. Tem tudo o que é necessário para umas férias em beleza. De referir também a calorosa receção da Helena, no caso, que nos deixou uma cesta de fantásticos produtos regionais. Muito obrigada Helena (e Sara que não chegámos a conhecer).
